AVL Sherpa is for anyone interested in Asheville and the surrounding communities. I moved to Asheville in late 2023 after living in Atlanta for 38 years. If you are thinking about visiting or moving to this area, you might find this website helpful.

My experience as a tour guide inspired the AVL Sherpa Project. Between 2015 and 2021, I designed and led 300+ walking tours in Atlanta. I also created a collection of educational tools designed to help residents and visitors connect with Atlanta's past, present and future.
